Luna-Suite High-Speed Serial Interface Test Software Suite

MET's MWG-242 series arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) uses the test suite Luna-Suite to complete the functions detailed in this section, and also supports users to configure the product in a programmable manner. Luna-Suite's software is powerful and simple to operate, which reduces the threshold and time for operators to use this type of high-speed arbitrary waveform generator.

02  Typical use cases

Send "PRBS7@6Gbps400mVp-p" High-speed serial signal

1.The MWG-242A is used to generate a 6 Gbps PRBS7 high-speed serial signal with a waveform amplitude of 400 mVp-p. The transmitter sets the above parameters and sends the waveform. The receiver of this use case is completed by MET's MDO-401A series high-speed oscilloscope (for details, please refer to this series of articles).

2.In the top menu bar of the Luna-Suite operation interface, click the "De-Enbed" button to configure the test item related parameters. After the configuration is completed, click the "Update" button on the right to complete the upload settings.

  • Signal ModNRZ

MET Technology's MWG series arbitrary waveform generators offer a variety of sampling rate/bandwidth options.

If you need a higher rate, you can choose the MWG-242 series or MWG-202 series. They have larger bandwidth and higher sampling rate, and can be widely used in the fields of autonomous driving (ADAS, domain controller, SerDes testing), AI computing (MIPI, DDR testing), high-speed interconnection (PCIe, USB, Ethernet testing) and signal integrity (High-Speed cable, backplane testing) and other scenarios.

If a lower rate can meet your test needs, you can choose the MWG-122 series or MWG-102 series. They are equipped with 12 GSa/s and 10 GSa/s sampling rates respectively, with better cost performance. On the MET Luna-Suite platform, you can achieve powerful high-speed serial signal generation and analysis functions.

MET Technology has always been committed to providing customers with high-performance and high-reliability test and measurement solutions. The PXIe modular measuring instrument product system is complete. With its excellent performance and wide range of application scenarios, it has become a benchmark choice in the industry. We look forward to your continued attention to the release of MET Technology's PXIe series products, and we will serve you wholeheartedly!
