01  MDO Series-High Speed Oscilloscope

METER™MDO-054A/B series

PXIe Multi-Channel High-Speed Digital Oscilloscope Unit


        The MDO-054 series oscilloscope is equipped with 4 analog input channels. Among them, the MDO-054A adopts single-ended input, and the MDO-054B adopts differential input. The sampling rate of each channel can reach 5 GSa/s, and the test bandwidth can reach 1.25 GHz. Equipped with 12-bit ADC resolution, it can accurately capture the subtle waveform details of complex signals. The input amplitude can be selected between 500mVp-p and 1000mVp-p. The MDO-054 adopts on-board large-capacity storage mode, with a record length of 625ms@5GSa/s (3.125Gpts), which can meet the needs of large-scale data acquisition.

The MDO-054 series oscilloscopes can be configured with a variety of measurement application software, including oscilloscope software ScopeWave, spectrum analysis software SageWave, and high-speed interface consistency test suite Luna-Suite, which can fully meet various measurement needs.

The MDO-054 series oscilloscopes, with their excellent signal detection and analysis capabilities, provide powerful support for a variety of test scenarios, including high-speed interface time domain testing, power supply testing, ripple measurement, power device testing, IGBT dynamic testing, MIPI testing, high-speed interconnect testing, and signal integrity testing.

This oscilloscope can not only accurately process fast-changing time domain signals, but also reliably capture complex waveforms, always maintaining a smooth test experience. MDO-054 has built-in rich signal measurement and calculation processing functions, making test work more efficient.

02  MDO Series-High Bandwidth Oscilloscope


How do we choose the appropriate oscilloscope bandwidth in actual measurement? Usually, we follow two principles: the 5-times rule (the oscilloscope bandwidth should be at least 5 times the signal frequency) or the empirical formula (tr = 0.35/BW).

MET Technology's MDO series oscilloscopes offer a variety of bandwidth options. If you need a larger bandwidth, you can choose the MDO-102 series or the MDO-401 series. They have larger bandwidths and higher sampling rates, and can be widely used in the fields of autonomous driving (ADAS, domain controllers, SerDes testing), AI computing (MIPI, DDR testing), high-speed interconnection (PCIe, USB, Ethernet testing), and signal integrity (High-Speed cable, backplane testing) and other scenarios.

PXIe High-Speed Wideband Digital Oscilloscope Unit


        MDO-401 series oscilloscopes, single card single input channel. Among them, MDO-401A adopts 2.92mm differential input mode, and MDO-401B adopts SMP differential input mode. The sampling rate of each channel can reach 40 GSa/s, and the test bandwidth can reach 18 GHz. The input amplitude can be 500mVp-p, and combined with the front-end card, the input amplitude of 2Vp-p can be achieved. MDO-401 adopts on-board large-capacity storage mode, and the record length is up to 500ms@40 GSa/s (20Gpts), which can meet the needs of large-scale high-speed data acquisition.

PXIe High-Speed Wideband Digital Oscilloscope Unit

        MDO-102 series oscilloscopes, single card dual input channels. MDO-102A uses single-ended input, MDO-102B uses differential input. The sampling rate of each channel can reach 10 GSa/s, and the test bandwidth can reach 2.5 GHz. The input amplitude can be selected between 500mVp-p and 1000mVp-p. Combined with the front-end card, an input amplitude of 10Vp-p can be achieved. MDO-102 uses onboard large-capacity storage mode, with a record length of 625ms@10 GSa/s (6.25Gpts), which can meet large-scale high-speed data acquisition needs.
