In September 2024, Communication University of China will celebrate its 70th anniversary. Communication University of China was founded in 1954 and was renamed Communication University of China from Beijing Broadcasting Institute in 2004. Over the past 70 years, the university has adhered to the school motto of "morality, dedication, erudition and competition" and has made important contributions to the training of talents, scientific research and discipline construction in China's radio, television and media.

On the afternoon of September 20, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of his alma mater, Xiao Ruwu, chairman of Suzhou MET Technology Co., Ltd., returned to the school for a discussion and donated a METER™ series MDO-102A oscilloscope and three test solution kits to the School of Information and Communication Engineering.

The donation ceremony was attended by the Dean of the School, Liu Jianbo, the Party Secretary of the School, Jin Libiao, and other leaders. The ceremony was hosted by Zhang Wenhui, the Vice Dean of the School of Information and Communication Engineering.

The donated equipment is the METER™ series MDO-102A high-performance real-time oscilloscope, which has 2-channel analog input and a sampling rate of up to 10 GSa/s per channel. It is widely used in testing various high-speed interfaces.

The MFE-004A front-end card in the METER™ series PXI measurement unit has functions such as input voltage protection, 50Ω/1MΩ impedance switching, single-ended input to differential input, AC/DC mode switching, and low-pass filtering. It can be used in combination with MET®'s MDO series oscilloscopes and applied to tests in various complex scenarios.
